Profile

Saliou Diallo.

AI Solution Architect.

I'm an AI Solution Architect at AT&T's Chief Data Office. I design and operationalize enterprise-scale AI and Generative AI governance at one of the world's largest telcos. My work sits at the intersection of solution architecture, AI policy, data engineering, and cross-functional program leadership.

My path here is unconventional, and I think that's my edge. I started as a civil engineer, spending four years at AECOM designing roadway infrastructure across Texas and Georgia: $1.6B highway projects, drainage systems, interchange schematics. That foundation never left me. I just applied it to a different kind of infrastructure.

I went back to school for an MS in Analytics (Computational Data) at Georgia Tech. Now I lead AI governance at AT&T: 100+ GenAI use cases, fast-track pathways, risk mitigation, Power BI dashboards for senior leadership, agentic AI oversight, and the migration to AI-fueled governance platforms.

What I'm focused on next: architecting enterprise AI systems that combine cloud, GenAI, governance, and business strategy; building real-world AI products on Azure, LLMs, agents, and RAG architectures; and helping organizations adopt AI responsibly to drive long-term impact.

AI Solution Architect

2022 – Present · Dallas, TX

AT&T's Chief Data Office runs enterprise-wide data strategy, governance, and AI adoption. I design, operationalize, and scale the governance systems that decide how AI and GenAI get built and deployed across the business.

  • Architected and maintained AT&T's enterprise AI governance framework, managing the full lifecycle of 100+ GenAI use cases from Permit-to-Build (P2B) through Permit-to-Operate (P2O).
  • Built a cross-functional governance operating model across six risk domains (Legal, CSO, HR, Privacy, Compliance, Supply Chain), driving a 30% increase in GenAI use case submissions in one year.
  • Designed fast-track approval pathways for low-risk, pattern-based use cases (Copilot, Ask Data, Ask Docs, AAW), standardizing routing logic and SLAs.
  • Led governance strategy for agentic AI and AAW 2.0, co-authoring process documentation, P2B workflow requirements, and due diligence standards for multi-agent systems.
  • Authored the enterprise AI Governance Playbook and Data+AI Dictionary — the definitive references for submission pathways, governance stages, and policy standards across AT&T.
  • Developed Power BI dashboards and governance aging reports for 500+ AI use case statuses, improving senior leadership decision speed and accuracy by 30%.
  • Drove the strategic migration from WatsonX.gov to AT&T's AI-Fueled Governance (AIFG) platform: transformation planning, stakeholder communications, continuity documentation.
  • Co-led migration of 2,300+ AI use cases from a legacy IAM platform into IBM WatsonX.gov using phased data migration, mapping, and validation strategies.
  • Coordinated Sev-1 escalations and platform outages (WatsonX/OpenPages) with IBM and internal teams, publishing service notices and recovery guidance.
  • Acted as primary liaison between Business Units, Architecture, Platform owners, and international HR to ensure global regulatory alignment across AT&T's GenAI footprint.
